Five men have appeared in court, charged with 21 sexual offences as part of an investigation into the exploitation of a 16-year-old girl.
They were each remanded in custody until January 29, at a hearing held at Leicester Magistrates’ Court today.
The men are aged 20, 22, 25, 27 and 39.
A 15-year-old youth has been released on police bail while further enquiries are carried out.
The court ruled that no information should be published which would lead to the identification of the defendants.
